About Me

I attended the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University. After graduating in 2003 I started working in the fashion industry in NYC and continued there for 8 years, holding jobs at Hugo Boss and Juicy Couture. After leaving the fashion world I worked with an Interior Designer in NYC. I've always loved everything having to do with Interior Design so having the opportunity to work hands on at a design firm was a wonderful learning experience. I left the Interior Design firm in November 2011, after having my daughter, Harper. 

Since then I have been freelancing doing visual displays in the department stores of NYC, doing  Interior Design consulting, blogging, and most important, being a full time mommy.

I also recently started a new venture of creative party planning, which I am very excited about. I had so much fun planning Harper's 1st Birthday party and truly loved the whole process. I want to take my passion for creating unique parties and help others plan a wonderful celebration.

I currently reside in Westchester, NY with my husband Matt, our daughters Harper and Hazel, and our puggle Parker.

I enjoy all things creative, artistic and aesthetically pleasing. Through shaboushari my goal is to bring all of these things to you. A little bit of design, food, fashion, travel and everything in between.
